Today we finally departed port. We were delayed because we needed to have an Indonesian official on board since we have limited area we can work in. Yesterday the Baruna Jaya IV pulled into port. The Baruna Jaya IV is Indonesian ship working with us. They are doing shallow water mapping, and taking water samples. They also toured our boat. We had sort of an international meeting on the dock. We exchanged shirts our, and they gave us hats of the Baruna Jaya IV. Their systems are older then ours. We have our first ROV dive tomorrow early in the morning like at 4:00 am.
A few days ago a local restaurant had a bbq.
